Thermoplastic Carbon Fiber Prepreg
Thermoplastic carbon fiber prepreg is made of continuous carbon fiber tow and thermoplastic resin (such as PA, PP, PEEK, etc.) through hot-melt impregnation process. The resin content is uniform, and the fiber arrangement is regular. It can be repeatedly processed through hot pressing, molding, vacuum forming and other processes, no need for low-temperature storage, and storage and transportation are more convenient. The product has a tensile strength of more than 3500MPa and an elastic modulus of about 240GPa. At the same time, it has excellent impact toughness and fatigue resistance, which can realize efficient lightweight and recycling of structural parts.
In the field of high-end manufacturing, thermoplastic carbon fiber prepreg is widely used: in aerospace, it is used for recyclable structural parts such as wing panels and cabin doors to meet environmental protection and reuse requirements; in automobiles, it is used for body coverings and chassis structural parts to achieve lightweight and improved crash safety; in sports equipment, it is used for bicycle frames, skis, etc., combining strength and durability; in industry, it is used for robotic arms and automated equipment components to improve production efficiency and service life.
